Submissions Are Live

Today marks a meaningful moment for our small press.

We are pleased to open our doors to writers. Submissions for Yawning Fox Press are now live, and we invite work that speaks to the meeting place between wilderness and imagination. If your writing listens closely to the more-than-human world, or traces the quiet tensions between civilization and the wild, we’d be honored to read it.

Our full guidelines are available on our Submissions Page. There you will find details about the kind of work we seek, the formats we accept, and the values that guide our editorial choices. We encourage writers to read our mission and meet our Editorial Board before sending their work.

This is the beginning of a slow and thoughtful publishing journey. We look forward to discovering voices that resonate with the ecological and literary vision at the heart of Yawning Fox Press.

We welcome your work.
